"'ina tupuhi ma..." which means "when the storm comes..." Now that we have reached the end of the exhibition, we are reminded of the childhood lesson to seek shelter when the weather turns bad. However, this painting suggests a different approach to the storms that rage within our minds. Rather than seeking refuge, we can embrace these turbulent times as an opportunity to create something new and beautiful. It is an all-black and white painting that signifies the perfect ending or beginning of a colorful life. We should learn to appreciate both the bright and dark times, as the latter can lead to new beginnings and rebirth. As the storm comes, we must embrace it and use it as an opportunity to create something new and beautiful. Thank you for accompanying me on this journey and exploring the meaning behind each painting. May these artworks inspire you to see the world in a new light and to appreciate the beauty in every moment.
